Part of the TravelUpdate application process is to submit your post for review, read the feedback provided by the admins, and use the feedback to make final edits. PublishPress Planner makes this process straightforward and easy. In this article, you will be walked through the steps to submit a post for review and understand the editorial comments and metadata left by the admins.

Submitting a Post for Review

Once you have written your post and are ready to submit your post for review follow these steps:

In the Publish widget, select Request Review from the drop-down list. Select OK and then Save as Request Review.

Once you have selected Save as Request Review, an automated email will be sent to the admins that your post is ready for review.

You will be notified with an email similar to the one below when the admins review your post and provide feedback.

Understanding Editorial Comments and Metadata

When the admins review your post, they may leave comments and metadata to provide feedback on your writing. Here's how to access and understand this feedback:

Open your post in your Mine folder.

Scroll down to the "Metadata" section to read any feedback the admins have left on your post. You can see an example of Metadata comments below. If the boxes are checked, that means you have met the criteria described for that section.

Take the feedback seriously and make any necessary changes to your post before resubmitting for the final review. Once you have made the changes, you can submit the post for review again by clicking on "Submit for Review" at the top of the post editor.

After you have submitted your final edit for all 3 posts, an admin will reach out to let you know if you are selected to become a blogger on TravelUpdate. If you need any assistance during this process, please reach out to help@boardingarea.com.
