Download the Google Page-Analytics extension for Chrome and use the heat map tool to see what your readers are interacting with. It might be a good idea to find those ares of your blog that are not being used and delete them from your theme for the important reason that a faster page is a better page and there may be more interesting ideas you can add to your blog to encourage more readership.
